MUKUZANI - RED DRY WINE
In Mukuzani, Specific Viticulture Area Grapes are hand-picked at the optimum of their maturity. Soft de-stemming and crushing is followed by fermentation at controlled temperature (23-28°C) using the cultural yeast strains. After 12-15 days of maceration, wine was racked clean and transferred for malolactic fermentation and 6 months of aging in 225 l oak barriques. Maturation continues in stainless steel tanks before bottling process, complemented by bottle aging at the optimum temperature prior to the release.
Deep red color with aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate with sprinkling of vanilla and spice. Palate: Generous ripe mouth-filling fruit on the palate with notes of damson, followed by robust tannins and extended finish. Produced and bottled by `Chateau Mukuzani` Ltd, Gurjaani Municipality, village Mukuzani. 750 ml. Alcohol 13,7%
